How do you make weird skin colors and patterns with the Sims 2 body shop?

I want to make aliens and spongebob people on the Sims 2 but I have completly no idea how to make them.|||There%26#039;s actually a pretty good basic tutorial at the main sims site which gets you started using Bodyshop to make custom skins, here:

But also have a look at Mod the Sims, there is an awful lot of custom content on there already made by other people. You might find what you are looking for.

http://www.modthesims.info/|||You need a paint program like photoshop to start with. You can probably figure out how to make a new custom part from the menu. Once you%26#039;ve selected the skin you want to use as a base you click %26quot;export textures%26quot;. Now minimise bodyshop and go into your paint program and open the skin files from the projects folder in your sims 2 folder. From here you can probably work it out. You%26#039;ll need to do it for all the skin files. Trust me, it will take a looooooooong time. After that go back into bodyshop and click the refresh button in the bottom left. It will freeze for a few minutes then the skins should show up.|||Photoshop is the best way to go about it but if you want something free of charge then use GIMP. Paint is an option but..it doesn%26#039;t make very good skins or anything for that matter. Look on youtube or http://thesims2.ea.com for tutorials that will tell you what to do.

~Zarina|||open in in paint or photo shop or some thing like that.i use paint.
