I have 2 sons ages 12 and 10 who are both in swimming lessons 3 days a week. It%26#039;s in a inside pool, lots of chlorine and their lesson lasts 75 minutes long. They have extremely smooth delicate skin, but we all know chlorine dries our skin out horribly.
What can I do to prevent their skin from drying out like this?|||we used to use baby oil - before getting in the pool.
when we were in the pool, our skin felt silky smooth, and it was ok when we got out.
i mean - i guess if you think about it, it%26#039;s should keep the moisture in... i dunno. - sounds good...|||Try using Johnsons baby oil gel. It puts back what the chlorine takes away.|||use a good daily moisturizer.|||Have them shower asap, even before they leave the building. Use a soap with oil in it or after the shower they can apply a small amount of baby oil (while they are still wet) this will seal in moisture.|||every day before ther lessons make them put on lotion! they mite not lik the idea, but it works! to make it easer make sur u have alotion that is strong but not smelly (so they%26#039;ll actually use it!).|||try using a small amount of vaseline on affected areas|||There is a special lotion for it but i forgot...|||before and after put moisturizor on it.. i had the same problemm!! it works!!!!!!!!!|||well, you can%26#039;t really stop it from happening.
all you can do is use a gentel swimmer%26#039;s shampoo that removes chlorine and use it as a body wash as well as a shampoo. that has worked great for me.|||stay away from it
