How do I keep my skin healthy over the summer?

I have very fair, light Irish skin that burns easily and tans slightly. I want to keep my skin free from burn and healthy from chapping and UV rays over the summer, but I also want to get a bit of a tan- what can I do to tan but not burn and still stay healthy?|||Put on spf 15 or more before you go out and drink lots of water.|||Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen!!! I can not stress it enough! If you want a tan use self-tanners. Remember, most self-tanners do not protect you from the sun. You still need to use sunscreen.

Eat lots of antioxidants - green tea, grapes, pomegranates, even red wine (if you are over the age of 21!) You can also buy drinks like Vitamin Water that contain antioxidants.

Drink lots of water. You can also take supplements - Youth Builder is one.

Use pomphenol sun guard.

Eat lots of vitamin C.

%26quot;Appropriate diet is always good. Ideally to help repair cell membranes, soy, which contains lecithin, the essential fatty acids, such as the GLA 3 fish oils, which come from cold water fish, along with flax seed, olive oil, and a source of amino acids which can come from gelatin, along with the traditional green leafy vegetables or the B vitamins. I love pomegranates for their antioxidant benefit. Since it is hard to eat these on a daily basis, I recommend taking them in supplement form to get the appropriate nutrition that your skin needs.%26quot;|||if you want a lil bit of tan i would not stay out side for too long but still wear some sort of sun screen. if you want to tan i would go with some 25 or something around there. make sure you are drinking a lot of water. water is essencial for good skin. never go with out sunscreen. you will get burn.|||Your skin tone reminds me of mine. You need to use a sunscrren with a good SPF but not too much. Mary Kay has a comprehensive sun care line for your tanning and skin care needs in the sun. Like a Sunscreen, After tanning Replenishing Gel and a Subtle Tanning Lotion to help you along.|||simpley be careful apply sun lotion mainly in the higher factors but be sure that when you applay it that it is thick otherwise it will not give the protection it should. over past surveys it has shown the own brands are better than the branded ones.|||15 spf sunscreen.

or tanning lotion with sunscreen in it.
